ECM 2017, Dubrovnik, Croatia, April 18-21, 2017

 Adria Section of the Combustion Institute, under the auspices of the Federation of the European Sections of the Combustion Institute, organized the 8th European Combustion Meeting (ECM 2017), that took place between April 18 and 21, 2017 in Dubrovnik, Croatia. The main objective of ECM 2017 was to bring together the researchers, scientists, engineers and students to exchange and share their experiences, new ideas, and research results about all aspects of combustion science and technology. ECM 2017 provided the opportunity for academic and industrial combustion experts to meet and discuss on all aspects of combustion topics.



The ECM 2017 gathered together an impressive number of 537 participants (of that 198 were students) from 38 countries. In total, 5 Invited lectures were given, 455 posters were presented at the ECM 2017 in 5 poster sessions and 454 proceedings papers were submitted.
